Most people are able to perform basic fault troubleshooting and repairs to their home appliance with just basic skills and understanding. Everyone knows how expensive it is to call out an appliance service engineer and when it often turns out to be something very basic you still end up paying for the very expensive call out fee.

I have been a qualified electrical engineer, contractor and service man for more than 30 years now. I am still called out to help clients with problems that they could have solved themselves within a few minutes. In most cases the problems are so basic, including blocked filters.

There are so many home appliances and kitchen aids in the average home these days. There are a variety of washing machines and washer/dryers, some are fully computerized. Then many homes have clothes dryers, and dishwashers, along with wall ovens, ranges and cookers, ceramic cook tops.

Then we have microwave ovens, refrigerators, freezers, ice makers, air conditioning, trash disposal units, BBQ, outdoor kitchens and endless small kitchen appliances that include toasters, toaster ovens, coffee makers. Elsewhere in the home we have pressure washers, home security and access systems, swimming pool and spa Systems, power tools and then basic home electrics to power it all.

You can save hundreds of dollars! And yes I said hundreds of dollars a year just by following some basic home appliance repair advice and performing some basic maintenance.

It’s never easy to attend an appliance repair callout after the client has waited a week, only to have me repair the problem in just a few minutes. In many such cases the householder could have diagnosed and repaired the problem themselves with just a small amount of basic knowledge. It is easy to be baffled by all these new fangled computerized appliances and other high tech innovations, but the majority of cases have simple problems only and require very simple actions. When diagnosing home appliance faults start off simple and look at the basics.

The purpose of my website is to help you defend yourself against the more shady appliance repair service engineers who sometimes make false claims that a particular appliance part has failed, before proceeding to run up a big repair bill. It is also a fact that some appliance repair people are relatively unqualified and not very experienced and so they keep replacing appliance parts until your machine eventually starts working, all at your expense. As you can see it is very useful to know the basics about your appliance and be able to diagnose the simple problems so they cannot snow you with lots of jargon. Remember that it is your money and just do not spend a dollar more than you need to.

I will try and teach you what to do when the washing machine and clothes dryer makes strange noises or simply stops working! What you should do when the stove hot plate stops working! What to do when your dishwasher isn’t working quite right! What it means when the refrigerator is icing up, and when the air conditioner isn’t making you cool. What is wrong when the ice-maker stops making ice!

WARNING You must never try and troubleshoot or repairs to your home appliances without first switching off the electrical power and removing the plug from the receptacle. If you not confident in your ability then always call a qualified electrician or a reliable appliance service engineer.

Coasters are used to protect furnishings. Most often you will find them in a living room, where people gather to enjoy beverages together. However, there are many places around the home where these useful preventative accessories could come in handy.

First off is the aforementioned living room. In this space a set of coasters is relatively necessary. They will save the life of your coffee table, as well as any other flat surfaces that are scattered throughout the space. They are also a way to add beauty, sophistication, and even color to a space, without overwhelming it.

The bedroom is another location where drink coasters can come in handy. Many people like to take a beverage with them into bed at night. Whether it’s a cold glass of water, or a cup of warm milk to help you sleep, a coaster can protect your furnishings in this space.

The kitchen is another place where you might want to consider placing beverage coasters. While most of the surfaces in this space should be impervious to damage from water rings, there may be vulnerable spots throughout the space. Do you have a kitchen table? This may be one place that water damage can creep up. If you have hardwood counters you also may want to consider these accessories as a preventative measure.

The dining room is another great place to use coasters. You can greatly prolong the life of a dining table top if you protect it with these useful accessories. They can also be another added element of beauty and style in your dining table arrangements.

Most people do not think of the outdoors as a place to use coasters. However some furniture, especially wooden pieces, will warp if a wet glass is left on them long enough. While rain may fall on that table all year round it falls randomly over the entire surface. A glass sits in a single place, creating a single noticeable circle.

As you can see drink coasters are for more than just coffee tables. They are useful accessories almost no matter where they are located. If you care about the beauty of your possessions, you may want to consider scattering these useful accessories to a few more locations.

This article was written by Jim Slate on behalf of PebbleZ.com’s line of absorbent natural beverage coasters. . These attractive and functional pieces are crafted from a wide variety of slate, sandstone, marble, and onyx materials. Many of these pieces are also available with matched natural stone coaster holders.

Just as a larder, they give a an enormous quantity of space to maintain all your fresh foods cool and this really is why we tend to label them larder fridges.

Larder fridges are so called since they give an enormous amount of space to store all your fresh foods cool, similar to a larder. Machines available in the Bosch integrated larder fridge range feature their most recent technology and design.

It should be built so as to stop flies and parasites, simple to keep hygienic and built with shelves, cupboards appropriate to the food being stored, as cool as possible, and close to food preparation places.

The flies and bedbugs are far simpler to keep out lately because the invention of a sealed door – the average Bosch model has all of these features.

A fixed hinge or a sliding hinge are the 2 different types of appliance door hinges made for total integration in your kitchen design. Both of these installation choices are simple and the right type of hinge for a individual kitchen depends on personal preference and the model being changed.

You can find more than a few Bosch models for you to opt from. The major difference between them is their height. The alternatives of height can differ from approximately one thousand millimeters, to nearly 1700 millimeters and clearly which one you might go for may depend on how much space you have available for the house machine.

The 1700 millimeters extra bulky larder fridge frequently includes the unchanging hinge system. The benefits of this form of hinge are that you can add more mass to the door, and open it at a larger angle, making it simpler and easier to access and to use. There will be not as much chance of the door being left open and food going off as the doors close up automatically at an angle of approx 12 % .

Those extra large models have a total capacity of round 320 liters plus a number of of them come with an inner LED electronic display so that it easy to observe what heat the fridge is running at and so that it might be straightforwardly changed if necessary. To keep the fridge sparkling and the food stored there protected from bacterium ad germs some types also have the super cool characteristic, a pull out fridge tray and an anti bacterial method in.

Some Bosch versions have height variable safety glass shelves together with one that divides. You can find actually an inner fridge fan to assist keep the low temperature at an optimum level, 2 wetness controlled salad drawers to maintain salad crunchy and fresh for more by keeping the damp at an optimum level.

Wine is the favorite drink of many people. There are nearly 1000 different types of varieties. As the popularity of the wine is increasing, the method for storing it needs an important place. Wine is such an item that will be destroyed if not stored properly.

For the purpose of storing the wine, the wine coolers have been invented. The refrigerator is also a good place to keep the wines but it is good only for storing a less number of bottles. If you have many bottles of wine to store, then it is always better to store it in the wine coolers.

You have to first decide that why are you purchasing the wine cooler? Decide the number of wine bottles that you are going to keep in the wine coolers. If a time comes when you have to keep two types of wine, then there are wine coolers in which you can keep both of them.

The second factor while buying the wine cooler is the cost of the cooler. These wine coolers are available at the price between $ 100 to some thousand dollars. If you have a plan to buy the wine cooler that has the dual facility, then it will be costly than the single coolers. Some stores also store the wine in the form of cans.

The size of the room also should be given importance while buying the wine coolers. For example if the person has not enough space, so for them the wine coolers that can be kept on the top of the refrigerator will be the best. Some can be installed in the wall also.

The most important consideration that should be made while purchasing the wine cooler is the dcor of the room. There are different types of wine coolers which differ in style and size, so you should buy the one that will be suitable to your room.

Drill and fill aerification will help the state of your golf course or playing field. All turf needs deep healthy roots. This will not be possible if the soil is constantly getting compacted. This will not give the roots the air chambers they need to get the oxygen required.

Any ball field or golf course is subject to a lot of use. Not only by people but also the large heavy mowers that are in constant use. When this is the case the soil will compact and lose any air chambers that the grass was using to get oxygen.

To keep the air in soil on such a large area you need a machine. When a procedure is done it needs to make room for air to reach the roots. If the process does not penetrate deep enough into the earth the outcome will not be good and the new roots will not grow deep.

The best method for this appears to be done by a drill. A hole is drilled directly into the earth that only leaves small openings left where the turf was removed. This procedure will only leave a tiny amount of dirt behind that can be cleaned up fairly easy.

Within days after using this method the turf will look like nothing was even done. This is something that gold courses are concerned about. They do not want to shut down to do any maintenance but having poor turf is an important thing to consider for golfers.

A lot of the discussion comes down to the depth of the hole. This all depends on the type of soil, how much sand or clay may be underneath and the last time any aeration was done. Any sports turf specialist will be able to provide you with a analysis just by looking at your turf

The other thing to think about is the time of year to aerate. Normally it is done when the turf is still growing. The roots can continue to grow at a faster rate because the dirt around them will be loose. This will be done at different times of the year based on the climate.

The benefits after drilling and aerating the turf include deeper roots less moss, less disease and better overall greens condition. Most services will be able to do over 2 acres a day. Drill and fill aerification will help your playing field and in the case of a golf course will bring you more business.

If you are looking for a second hand chiller for industrial function like renovating or remodeling freezer rooms, then there are plenty of options left open for you to select. It is usually a surplus customer from whom a used chiller is bought and while there are numerous choices open for you to purchase for during this market of freezer rooms. You’ll be able to even search it online for a few nice deals on your used chiller. However since you’re going to pay for a used chiller there are particular points of consideration that you’d have to make concerning the details of the chiller. This is often important thus that you’ll be certain regarding its quality and value range before you make any firm answer to purchase the chiller.

Therefore among the first concerns that you would like to know regarding the used chillers would include the usage amount of the chiller, the producing date of the piece and also the price that the party is willing to sell you the used chiller. The usage capacity can verify for you what kind of use you’ll put the used chiller through, since it is for industrial use it’s normally very important for you to know beforehand whether the chiller will be able in hold the load that you are preparing to place it through.

The manufacturing date will clarify whether or not this used chiller can still run in an acceptably correct role or is it already past its lasting date. Finally the price that the sellers are inquiring for, should not only be suitable for you. It ought to also be competitive within the ongoing market rate of all freezer room and their components. This mean that you ought to watch out about what you are charged and therefore correct analysis concerning the current costs of used chillers is very vital so that you’re not fooled.

Of course there are also some great benefits when it comes to buy such freezer rooms components in used like the used chiller room. 1st of all, there’s a lot of time saved, that means that being a second user chiller you already know that the chiller is working well and that it would not leave you disappointed; and most vital will be saving you a lot of money. A whole new chiller would have price you anywhere close to $5000 whereas such a second hand chiller, which is working and will serve all the freezer rooms functions that you were looking for, all for about $1500.

It’s a nice save and you’ll have used chiller to use with same operate instead of paying a fortune on a replacement one. However, the advantages that you’ll be getting on a second hand chiller will actually be all the identical as a replacement chiller. Make sure that you know the details regarding the ability supply and the original date of selling thus that you can be sure of the quality of this used machine.

MRE REFRIGERATION SDN BHD (502498-V) could be a company that was born out of the conviction of the founder of the corporate that the air-conditioning and refrigeration was an evergreen business. This remains true as businesses, industries and shoppers in specific demand freshness of turn out and longer shelf lifetime of food products.

There are definite benefits to getting heavy equipment safety training. When operating these large machines it pays to know what you are doing. Knowing how to operate the machine is not enough. You must know what to do to avoid common injuries for yourself and other.

Heavy machinery is classified as the large equipment used for mining and construction. These may be backhoes, forklifts, cranes, excavators or bulldozers. People who are skilled in the operation of this equipment are hard to find. Schools have been created to get a person trained and qualified to start working immediately. These offer at home and resident training. The home training involves the reading and learning of operations of the vehicles. Resident training is the practical application of what has been studied on real equipment.

A construction site is a noisy and dangerous place to work. The operator of heavy machinery is out in varying temperatures unable to hear anything but their own equipment. Sometimes deadlines must be met. The combination of these things can lead to accidents. If you add in possible equipment malfunction or others not paying attention to safety rules it becomes very dangerous.

The available training schools have to be looked at with a discerning eye. There are some things the chosen school should have. The teachers must be those that have not only used the equipment but have worked in the industry on that piece of equipment. There is too much that cannot be learned just from reading. The school should also be a member of the National Association of Heavy Equipment Training Schools.

Schools need to have the real equipment that you would use on a job site. You must sit in it and operate it to gain confidence in what you do. There should be a center that will help you with career choices and finding employers. There need to be classes that offer simulations of real possible emergencies and real safety issue that are seen daily at work.

Keeping the construction site safe can be the same as keeping the equipment safely operating. If the machinery is flawed that can mean lack of safety for the operator and surrounding workers. Always use available ladders and steps because falls are one of the most common accidents. Other common possible accidents are workers being crushed by toppled equipment, being run over by equipment, and being pinned between a wall and/or vehicle.

Be sure to check that your machine is functioning properly. Always put on parking breaks when parked and test the reverse alarm before starting for the day. These small checks can mean keep someone from being severely injured and with machinery of this size, possible death. When learning heavy equipment safety training keep that in mind.

Of all the electrical appliances that people have in their homes, there is no doubt that the fridge uses the most energy out of all of them. When you have a high energy bill, you just might be able to trace it back to the fridge.

Of all the electrical appliances that people have in their homes, there is no doubt that the fridge uses the most energy out of all of them. When you have a high energy bill, you just might be able to trace it back to the fridge.

But the great news is that there is lots of room for improvement. In most cases, making these improvements is actually a very small deal. You won’t have to break the bank in any way. So let me share a few pointers with you.

1. By keeping the fridge full, you are making it easier for your fridge to keep things cool. It uses less energy if it has to work less hard to cool things. This seems counter intuitive, but the fact is that cool things share each other’s coolness, thereby collectively cooling down faster.

By putting more items in your fridge, it doesn’t need to work so hard at keeping the interior cold. You save energy from this. One more advantage is that multiple items will also stay cooler for longer. If you have ever lost power, then I’m sure you can see the benefits to this.

2. Make sure your fridge stays closed most of the time. It’s unbelievable how many people stand in front of the fridge, browsing through it for minutes on end. When the fridge is open, it uses way more energy.

This is terribly in terms of energy efficiency. Often when you keep the fridge open for long enough, you’ll hear its parts kicking into gear. This is pure energy wastage and it can be completely avoided by being quick about it.

3. Keep your fridge’s inner temperature at slightly more than 35 degrees. This is the best temperature setting for a fridge. Many people have the temperature set way too low. Unnecessary. And it wastes a lot of energy.

For freezers, it’s best to keep the temperature set to 0 degrees. You certainly don’t want your frozen foods to be thawing in the freezer. Lower temperatures do not freeze your food any better, but they do waste more energy.

Are you considering purchasing a new fridge freezer? Did you know there are strict rules when it comes to disposing of your old fridge? The best idea is probably to ask the dealer you’re buying a new one from to take the old one off your hands.

In the last decade, fridge manufacturers have literally stormed the market with dozens if not hundreds of fridge models. There are so many kinds of fridges, it’s just not funny anymore. It’s very hard indeed for the average consumer to choose the right one.

Recently, I’ve purchased a new integrated fridge freezer myself and I have done the necessary research that was required for me to find the right one. Let me share a few tips with you on how to find a good fridge.

1. It is always a good idea to measure the space where you intend to put your new fridge. Make sure you measure the space accurately in depth, width and height. Then compare your measurements to the dimensions listed in the specs of the fridge you are eyeing.

2. Think long and hard about what kind of fridge you would like to have. There are three basic design types in refrigerators. These are top mount, bottom mount, side by side. Whichever model you pick, make sure it fits you.

3. Does the fridge you are eyeing have plenty of capacity? Some of the bulkier fridges actually have less space on the inside than the ones that look slimmer. Make sure to compare this by opening up a few fridge doors when you’re at the store.

4. What color is your kitchen or whatever area you are intending to place the fridge? A dark fridge does not look good in a light kitchen. Think about what kind of decor you have, then pick a fridge color accordingly.

These tips are pretty much all you’ll ever need to make a decent purchase when it comes to fridges. A last bit of advice I can give you is to shop around and compare the prices of a handful of electronics stores. This can save you loads of money!

If you’ve ever had to move from one home to another at any point in your life, then you know how hard it is to move large things such as furniture and large kitchen appliances. A lot of people end up damaging the fridge while moving, because they do not know how to handle it properly.

You may think that a fridge can take all the abuse in the world, because it looks like a massive block of steel. But nothing could be farther from the truth. The cooling machinery on the inside of a fridge is very fragile indeed.

I’ve got my own moving company and I’ve got many years of experience under my belt. I’ve moved a lot of stuff, but I always make sure to pay lots of attention to the refrigerator. It must be handled with care. I will give you a few guidelines on how to properly move it.

1. Keep the fridge in the upright position for as long as you possibly can. Don’t ever put the refrigerator on its back or on its side. This will damage the exterior. And if you do it too roughly, it might also damage the mechanisms inside. You also want to prevent oil leakage.

2. Get all of the shelves and other loose things out. When moving, you do not want the shelves to come loose and fly all over the fridge every time the moving van hits a bump in the road. This can damage the interior of your fridge. All the perishable food items will have to be thrown away.

3. Defrost the fridge before you are going to handle it. Defrosting gets all the ice out. You don’t want the ice to thaw naturally, because all the resulting water is going to leak out and form a puddle on the floor.

4. Always move the fridge with at least two people. A refrigerator is an extremely heavy machine. If you are handling this on your own, you can topple it over. You will end up harming yourself or the fridge. You want to avoid both.

So if you ever plan on moving a refrigerator, make sure to remember these guidelines. If you handle your refrigerator well, you will most likely be able to move it without causing it to break!
